Plymouth Christian Youth Center (PCYC) presents five magical shows celebrating the "Legends"
of jazz, blues, gospel & pop!
The Plymouth Christian Youth Center (PCYC) is bringing up the lights at the Capri Theater (2027 West Broadway, Minneapolis) with five shows celebrating the "Legends" of jazz, blues, gospel and pop.
The series began Friday, Oct. 19, 2007, with A Night of Gershwin featuring Prudence Johnson and Dan Chouinard and closing with A Tribute to Nat King Cole, Billie Holiday and Sarah Vaughn featuring Dennis Spears, Debbie Duncan and Charmin Michelle 7 p.m. Saturday, June 14, 2008.
Under the direction of Dennis Spears, PCYC artistic associate, the Legends series also included two holiday performances of A Copasetic Christmas Carol with Charmin Michelle, Doug Haining & the Twin Cities Seven Saturday, Dec. 15, and Sunday, Dec. 16, 2007.
Debbie Duncan with Rick Carlson and the Wolverines Classic Jazz Trio packed the house with a concert that demonstrated why she is "The First Lady of Song" on Saturday, Feb. 16, 2008.
