Once a vaudeville and movie house, the Capri Theater today is becoming a destination in North Minneapolis. Owned and operated by Plymouth Christian Youth Center (PCYC), the Capri Theater Renaissance is underway ... with plans to renovate and expand this gem.
Until renovation begins, PCYC makes the Capri Theater available for rental events. It’s a great venue for music, spoken word, theater, movies, dance, community forums and more! (To view spaces, click here.)
The Capri Theater currently is a “diamond in the rough,” meaning our sound and lighting is fully functional ... and will be enhanced significantly during renovation. The Capri also works well as a recording studio, too.
Seating capacity is 250. There is also a classroom and a dance studio off the lobby. With the exception of the stage and backstage areas, the Capri is ADA accessible. Ample onsite and street parking is available around the Capri.
